With the threat of storms forecasted, we would like to inform our customers of the following information to avoid the filling and overspill of pool water due to heavy showers. In the event of a large amount of rain, your pool will either drain with an overflow line
automatically or will need to be drained manually. An overflow line is usually within the center of the pool, and in some cases, in the mouth of the skimmer. The overflow line will allow the excess water to drain out of the swimming pool automatically. In the case that you DO NOT have an automatic overflow line, you will need to manually drain the pool. The instructions are as follows
depending on the type of equipment you have: (Note-if you do not have this equipment-please contact us for further instructions).
Turn ball valve a ¼ turn so that it is in line with the pipe. Turn on the pump and the water will begin to travel through the P trap. Let the water drain to desired level. Finally turn pump off and turn ball valve back to original position. Do not forget to turn off ball valve.
Turn pump on. Attach a garden hose to the hose bib. Run hose to lawn or drain. Turn hose bib on. Let water drain to desired level. Finally, turn pump off and turn hose bib off. Do not forget to turn off hose bib.

rotate handle from Filter to Waste. (NOT
backwash) Turn the pump on. Water will be
traveling into sewer clean out. When level is
